about me

I was born in Osorno, Chile and raised in a farm near Los Muermos. After school I studied aquaculture engineering and joined the "2da Compañía de Bomberos Germania" fire station while studying,  then did some aquaculture related work, didn't like it, quit it and traveled a little bit before returning to my family's farm. After a year I moved to Patagonia to work as a guide in Torres del Paine National Park. I think here is where my photography started to improve. After three years in southern Patagonia I was invited to work as a photographer (among other things) for Reñihué Nature Conservancy Foundation, I have been living in the heart of Pumalin Park with my girlfriend Valentina since November 2018.
